The Heart of New Cross

Out Of The Brew exists to provide a space to nurture creative thoughts, discuss political actions or simply enjoy an artisan coffee, a pot of tea, or sip on a cold beer. Most likely, out of the blue, something magical will happen here.

Everything brought to the customer has been carefully chosen. Whether it be the yellow walls conducive to learning, the fig liqueur that mimics the fig trees in our garden, or the compostable coffee cups.

The fortnightly changing menu of healthy, hearty food and cakes are lovingly made in house.  Out of the Brew is passionate about food contributing to overall wellbeing and we endeavour to cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free customers.

And we take our coffee as seriously as everything else.  Our beans are roasted in a prison for reoffenders who are committed to making a premium product and changing their own lives in the process.

By joining the Out of the Brew family, you are demonstrating that caring lifestyle choices are important to you.  Come and relax in an environment of like minded people.

As well as carefully chosen suppliers and products, Out Of The Brew hosts events that reflect the urban, edgy, wildly artistic, independent, politically aware and fiercely proud area we live in.  It is a platform for nascent ideas, a safe space to explore new thoughts.

This intimate and unusual venue is also a great home for a private party.

We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
